Kidsday interviews Dylan and Cole Sprouse:

Kids from Kidsday meet Dylan and Cole a few months ago in Manhattan this is what Dylan and Cole said to them on the interview:

Were you excited when you started “The Suite Life on Deck”?

Cole: We kind of new about it for a while. I think that through all of the third season of the actual “Suite Life,” we knew about “Suite Life on Deck,” so we were constantly getting hyped for it When it came to be we were really excited.

How do you like your new costar Debby Ryan ?

Dylan: Debbie is very new to the business. This was her first thing on TV, she did a movie called ” The Longshots.” So she is very new but she is getting better each an every week. She is a lot of fun to have.
Cole: You will really start seeing it in the episodes too. She is improving a lot; it is amazing. It is almost like watching ourselves. In the very beginning of the Suite Life we were constantly getting better and better and funnier and funnier.

What is the funniest thing that has happened behind the scenes?

Cole: I think the most fun show are the ones where “Wizards” and “Hannah Montana” will come onto our set and stuff like that and we will joke around with people from other shows.

How did you get discovered by Disney Channel?

Dylan: They actually pitched “Suite Life” to us when we were 6. We all decided it would be best if we waited a couple of years for the show. We were 11, and they brought us back to the show and it was a completely new show. It was the Suite Life with our cast, we didn’t have to try out or anything. The show was built around our characters. The show as actually called “The Suite Life of Cole and Dylan” at first . . . the name was changed to Zack and Cole. It has been a roller coaster ever since.

What do you do when the camera isn’t rolling?

Cole: We have to do school three hours a day.
Dylan: We actually rehearse when the cameras aren’t rolling. Monday Tuesday and Wednesday we rehearse. Thursday we shoot it on camera and Friday we shoot it in front of a live audience.

What was it like to work with Chris Brown?

Dylan: He was an awesome guy.
Cole: We loved Chris Brown. He was like us basically.

Do you like working with your brother?

Dylan: We live together, we work together . . .
Cole: We do school together, and at night we go back from work and we have to stare at each other.
Dylan: We do have separate friends and that helps a little bit. Of course, we love each other.

If you could have anyone guest star on the show, who would it be?

Dylan: Jack Black and Kyle Gast, Tenacious D. No questions involved.

Do you ever give ideas for the show?

Cole: All of us do, the cast, crew, anything that is funny within Disney boundaries gets on the show. If we gave you the first draft of the script and then let you watch what comes out on TV, I guarantee you that is the same is the actual plot. A lot of the jokes change, mainly to be more funny. We do have a lot of creative control.
